We are a non-profitable UK based organisation providing support to children and vulnerable women and girls in Afghanistan
Helping Orphans was established and is led by Hanan Habibzai, with its headquarters in the UK. The organisation is registered in the UK and Afghanistan. A country director heads our operations team in Kabul, and the operational team is all Afghan nationals. This real strength enables partnership working with the local authorities and access to vulnerable communities. We currently work in across Afghanistan, a country with considerable and ever-increasing levels of vulnerability. Along with the food security programme, our Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme provides new skills and small businesses to vulnerable people so they can gain their own source of income.
Helping Orphans stands as a beacon of hope, a registered charity in the UK and an international NGO in Afghanistan. Hanan’s vision sparked a mission to make a lasting impact on the lives of orphans and vulnerable individuals.
From its inception, Helping Orphans has been a steadfast ally to those in need. Helping Orphans sustainable development projects help many vulnerable families overcome poverty and weakness, as we help them establish their own long term source of income that enable them to support their families and the education of their children.
According to the latest findings, the collapsing economy, drought, natural disasters and combined with high acute food insecurity in Afghanistan, depriving nearly 19 million Afghan people of food between February and July 2022. Here at Helping Orphans, we mean to reach out to every vulnerable and deprived person and to help him become self-reliant.

In this trilateral development three different disciplines have benefited from each other, we must realise that the only secret of developed countries is to lend and pass on vocational education, from childhood a citizen has to be educated and prepared to become a skilled member of society. In our age you require, If a person did not learn a skill, they would be left alone. The great moral excellence of the profession is of import, it eradicates poverty and hunger, provides community order, creates employed. Therefore, here at Helping Orphans, we seek to increase professional capacity within the rural communities.
